Click OK and continue through the rest of the dialogs.
Verify that the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox is marked and that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option is selected.
For the outgoing server, enter 587 and select TLS in the Use the following type of encrypted connection field.
For the incoming server, enter 993 and select SSL in the Use the following type of encrypted connection field.
I don't recall choosing IMAP when I set up Outlook 2013 but since having IMAP and Outlook 2013 everything is different.
Click the More Settings button and then click the Advanced tab. Here are the settings for setting up Outlook 2007 for Comcast POP mail.
Select an account, and click Change above the list of accounts.
Under Email Accounts, click E-mail Accounts.
From the Tools menu, choose Options > Mail Setup.
